Sonar Bookends Xref is a cross-reference generator for QuarkXPress. Easily embed references for tables, appendices, chapters, figures, and so on, in a document and have the page numbers updated at any time, in seconds. A simple but powerful tagging system allows cross-references to be inserted either while a document is being written or after it is complete. Multiple files can be cross-referenced at one time. Adding cross-referencing to documents is a snap with Sonar Bookends Xref. There are three easy steps to follow:
· click where the page number for an item (such as a table, figure, appendix, and so on.) should go and provide a user-definable label already assigned or that will be assigned to that item;
· select the associated text near each item being cross-referenced and provide the label to be assigned to that item; and
· instruct Sonar Bookends Xref to fill in the page numbers.
If the document is modified after this process, repeat step three to update the page numbers in all of the cross-references. If the project consists of several files, ensure that all of the files are open before performing the final step. Manufacturer: Virginia Systems, Inc. |
