Sonar Bookends QkLink allows the user to define PDF bookmarks and hyperlinks inside a QuarkXPress document. When the document is later converted to a PDF, the specified bookmarks and hyperlinks appear in the PDF automatically. Features: · Creation of manual bookmarks. For each bookmark the user can specify the title, the indention level, the action (go to a particular page with a specified zoom factor, open a file, or open a URL in a browser), the color, and the style. The user can also specify if the children of each bookmark are initially open or are closed.
· Automatic creation of bookmarks. The user can define attributes for text that is to be used to generate the title for bookmarks. Style sheets can also be used to specify the text. The document is then scanned for all text that matches the various user supplied definitions and manual bookmarks are created automatically. Once generated, the manual bookmarks can be modified by the user just like true manual bookmarks, if desired. For each automatic bookmark definition, the user can specify the indention level, the action (go to a page with a specified zoom factor, open a file, or open a URL in a browser), the color, the style, and if the children of each bookmark are initially open or are closed.
· Manual creation of hyperlinks. The user simply highlights the text to be linked and then, using a menu item, can specify the action for the link (go to a particular page with a specified zoom factor, open a file, or open a URL in a browser), and the underline color of the link (no underline, red, green, or blue).
