Macromedia Flash uses TrueType fonts, but smaller sizes of these fonts can look very fuzzy when viewed on a computer screen. FontFlasher converts almost any format font into a pixel TrueType font which turns on only selected pixels. This gives fine text a much clearer, more legible onscreen appearance.Import any format that can be rendered by the OS (including TrueType, Type 1, OpenType, and bitmap formats).Export as FontLab VFB. Requires FontLab, TypeTool, or TransType to generate font in TrueType or Type 1 format.Software requirements: To use the Pixel tool (bitmap-style, glyph-editing tool), install the Python interpreter. To convert VFB fonts to TrueType (which Flash uses), FontLab 4.6, TypeTool 2, or TransType Pro is required.Click the Resources tab above for related articles and other information on this topic.Manufacturer: FontLab Ltd.
