ID2Q7 offers QuarkXPress users a quick and easy way to convert InDesign files (v1.5 through v4.X) into QuarkXPress v6.X or v7 documents with a single click. All elements of the InDesign document, including object positions, colors, text, text attributes, images, and so on, are converted with a single click. ID2Q7 also converts between cross-platform files, converting Windows InDesign files to Mac QuarkXPress. File conversion is performed to the best standard achievable by current technology but will not be entirely accurate. Use of this product is likely to require some manual processing to achieve the desired result. The manufacturers of desktop-publishing applications have their own unique methods of text rendering, therefore, text flow will not be completely accurate. Depending on the use of custom kerning, tracking, leading, and other settings, more or less rework may be required — some rework will always be required.
