JobCapture (formerly known as IntelliTrack) is a turnkey system designed for production studios that tracks time and activity in many applications — with minimal intrusion to workflow. It works on each operator’s machine and reports valuable job-related information to a central server. When in operation, it mostly goes unnoticed, so it’s easier on users than filling in forms on an endless paper trail.Features automatic tracking for:• any application;• time spent on jobs;• job numbers;• activity types;• user names;• machine name;• activity index;• non-computer jobs;• comments;• revisions;• applications used;• document names; and• costs.Easily define the way JobCapture works with the preferences dialog. Users will then be able to categorize the work they do in ways that are tailored to their business.The auto job jacket is the dialog box that appears when a document is closed in one of the applications being tracked. The job types and activities can each have their own billing parameters.The manual job jacket appears when add job is clicked. It is specifically designed to enter time outside of the electronic environment, such as meetings, mounting boards, and so on.The IT database can be used at any time to view the status of any job on the network.
