FlightCheck Designer (formerly FlightCheck Collect) is a stand-alone application that assists designers as well as service providers in preflighting all major desktop-publishing files.In addition to OS X compatibility, the new features of FlightCheck Designer include: support for OpenType, TrueType, and Adobe Type 1 fonts; expanded support for a variety of native applications, including Microsoft Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint; the ability to open and verify multiple documents in a single session; and sort lists of colors, fonts, images, and so on with a simple click of the file header.FlightCheck Designer’s simple interface will assist designers in checking digital documents for over 150 potential problems. Obeying FlightCheck Designer’s user-definable preferences (called ground controls) the product finds problems with colors, fonts, and images which are the main focus for designers.
