J2STask is a robot designed to process repetitive tasks on a large number of graphic files available locally or by FTP. Combined with J2SProfileR (sold separately), J2STask can also be used to route documents according to the IPTC data they contain. J2STask scans a source folder, available locally or by FTP, at regular intervals. The files it contains are then processed and moved to a target folder also available locally or by FTP. Optionally, documents can be automatically moved to second target folder after being processed.A routing or error folder can collect files for which an error occurred while being processed or files which do not comply with the IPTC profile associated to the task.J2STask offers to automatically process files with the following operations:• beep;• rotate (all files or according to Exif data);• set file resolution;• downsize the pictures;• apply a mark (insertion of a picture in the files, e.g., watermark);• apply an IPTC profile , to make sure the files are properly captioned for example;• convert files to TIFF or JPEG; and• optionally re-compress the files.Manufacturer: J2S
