A stand-alone application that works in conjunction with QuarkXPress and the Collect For Output feature. FontXPress collects to a defined folder or drive all of a QuarkXPress document’s fonts (PostScript Type 1, TrueType, Multiple Master, and bitmap Mac), including EPS fonts for transport to a service bureau, archival, or output at a remote location. FontXPress takes full advantage of the StuffIt Engine (from Aladdin Systems, www.AladdinSys.com) and can automatically compress collected fonts into a StuffIt archive and encode the collected fonts archive into an internet-safe file format (HQX) for easy file transfers.This collection process is an especially time-consuming and tedious task for graphic designers and advertising agencies, who stand to benefit from the software by avoiding wasted film, late jobs, and frustrated customers due to missing fonts.FontXPress can literally pay for itself in time savings and accuracy.
