OverflowXTerminator is an XTensions module for QuarkXPress which provides a warning and a detailed listing of any overset text in a document. The XTensions module allows users to set preferences, such as the ability to test a document before printing, test before saving the page as an EPS, and to disallow printing if any overset text is detected.The XTensions module can be distributed to printers or other users who will have a hand in the processing of the document, and provides a dialog box listing the status of the document and the page number where the overset text was found. With projects such as catalogs, where overset text is not necessarily apparent (e.g., item numbers or prices are dropped from the text box), OverflowXTerminator instantly alerts the user.
