No more time-consuming searches through a hard drive trying to find that favorite QuarkXPress document, template, or library. Adding files to a Favorites' palette and accessing them takes just a few mouse clicks. Files added to Favorites can be organized by file types. All QuarkXPress documents are placed in a document group, templates are placed in a template group, and libraries are placed in a library group. Create as many groups as needed for better file management. In addition to QuarkXPress documents, templates, and libraries, Favorites supports any text or graphic files that can be imported with the get text and get picture options. EPS files are placed in an EPS file group, XPress Tags files are placed in an XPress Tag file group, and so on. Once the files are added to Favorites, simply select a text or graphic container in the QuarkXPress document and double-click the appropriate file (text files for text boxes and graphic files for picture boxes) in Favorites and it will be brought into the container. For a picture that has already been brought into a picture box, but the picture file is not in Favorites, select the picture box and with a click of the mouse the picture's file is added to Favorites.Favorites offers two ways to access the files. If the palette is displayed in full view, a file can be selected by double-clicking it in the list. If the full view takes up too much screen space simply change Favorites to brief view, and click on the document icon. It will display a popup list of the same files found in the full-view list. Scroll to the desired file and release the mouse and it will be opened. Manufacturer: Blossom Tree |
