The many complex features are hidden behind a simple and clear user interface, that shows the most important buttons for selecting InDesign templates, scaling of images, set, and get hidden data. A logically arranged and easy-to-see list provides a general view and shows the actual merge information in the data file.When creating price lists, a user would generally refer to a row of different variations in height of the same module. If the modules for right and left page differ, the correct design is chosen, depending on whether the page is positioned left or right.Cacidi Extreme Suite includes a recognized merge engine for working with simple data output files in tab, comma, semicolon, and other simple delimited formats, and now allows a full featured XML workflow. Change a simple preference setting and work with XML input files as well as simple text files.Roundtrip allows changes to be made directly within InDesign to the text content initially imported into a Cacidi Extreme Suite automated production. After manually applying changes to the dynamic content in the document, the user can create an export file to write back into the data source/database, including all the text-content changes applied with InDesign.With Cacidi Extreme Suite, build automated documents on multiple InDesign layers in one single process. If a Cacidi Extreme item design is saved on a specific layer, it will at any time produce on the same layer simultaneously with items saved on different layers. Should the item design be brought into a different document that does not have the layer prepared, Cacidi Extreme Suite will instantly create the layer.Extreme BarCodes 3.0 CS3 adds two more barcode types to the general feature set, ISBN (International Standard Book Numbering) and ISSN (International Standard Serial Numbering). Developers using Extreme BarCodes as an engine for generating barcodes, can now benefit from the custom feature, thereby generating their own defined barcode types.Each and every detail of this suite has been refined. If the user selects a color that has not been defined in the document, the color will be created. The same goes for paragraph formats and character formats.
