Using PitStop Connect, you create Connectors that provide graphic designers with an efficient Ôbridge' for the delivery of their files. You distribute these Connectors to customers, for instance through your Website. Customers simply place them on their desktop without any installation. These customers can then drag-and-drop files on the Connector for automatic transmission to your printing or publishing company. The Connectors can contain all of the settings you require: FTP or Switch delivery details, Prefight Profile or Action Lists, PDF only or also other file types allowed, etc. Once you have defined these settings the Connector does the rest: checking, fixing, ensuring that the file complies with the defined settings, and automatically delivering it to your FTP server or Switch workflow. You can also allow the sending of files that still contain errors, or allow the designer to sign-off on specific problems. In the event of an error in a PDF file, the graphic designer can view a preflight report identifying any problem that they can solve on their side. When files are directly delivered to Switch, you can request the graphic designer to supply additional information before sending the file.
