Layer Comps are a convenient way to store a snapshot of certain key aspects of your documents layers. A simple click in the palette lets you name and save your current view of layer visibility and editing state as a Layer Comp. You can create as many as you like, without substantially expanding your file size. You can recall a Layer Comp with an instant click. Think of this as a sort of savable "Snapshot" function - although it only notes your viewing state, never trashes layers, and is saved with your file. Do you need to turn the visibility of multiple non-adjectant layers on and off frequently? Download the free try-out and see for yourself, how much time you will save in the layer intensive workflow. Want to be even more efficient? Check out the Layer Groups plug-in too. Buy both plug-ins in Layer Tools bundle for a discounted price. Settings stored in the Comp
· Layer visibility
· Lock state
· Layer order
· Printability
· Guide visibility
· Guide lock state Settings stored in the Comp Comps can be also exported into all formats supported by InDesign. You can export a single comp into .inx as a snapshot or multiple comps into .pdf to show your clients layout alternatives. All documents created with the Layer Comps can still be opened and edited without this plug-in. The layer settings will remain the same. Manufacturer: DTP Tools |
