Code 128 barcodes are used extensively by the shipping industry as well as for inventory, identification, and tracking purposes. Code 128 is part of many labeling specifications.
Code 128's character set supports the lower 128 ASCII characters, including upper and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation, and control codes. Code 128 barcodes include a mod 103 check digit to ensure data integrity. Code 128 is much denser than Code 39 and is the symbology of choice when space is at a premium.
C128Tools supports code set A, code set B, code set C, and UCC-128/SSCC barcodes. It includes five different fonts in TrueType and Type 1 PostScript format. Changing between the various fonts enables the user to alter the width of a barcode, while changing the point size alters the symbol's height.

Codabar is used for ID cards, by blood banks, and some package-delivery carriers. This set of TrueType and Type 1 fonts generates Codabar barcodes from within any application and prints to any printer. Codabar barcodes are digits only. Add the start and stop digit before and after the string, and then format it all in the included font.

Code 93 barcodes are used in the electronics industry and other places where very small symbols are desired. Code 93 barcodes are compact and include not one but two check digits to ensure accurate scans.
Code 93's character set includes A through Z uppercase, 0 through 9, the space character, and six other characters: -, ., /, +, $, and % The four control codes are mapped to a, b, c, and d. These are often referred to as $, /, %, and +.

Data Matrix is a 2D barcode symbology gaining widespread use on items as diverse as bills, invoices, statements, and the postmarks on US mail. Data Matrix is quickly becoming the 2D barcode of choice, especially in situations where space is at a premium.
Data Matrix is a compact 2D symbology capable of holding relatively large amounts of data when compared to older 1D symbologies such as Code 128 or Code 39. Data Matrix symbols can also be made smaller than the same data encoded in a PDF 417 barcode.

This PostScript font prints EAN-13 and EAN-8 barcodes. It can calculate the last (control) character. The barcode is calculated only at printing time on a PostScript printer. On screen there is only a simulation used when placing the code.

Macromedia Flash uses TrueType fonts, but smaller sizes of these fonts can look very fuzzy when viewed on a computer screen. FontFlasher converts almost any format font into a pixel TrueType font which turns on only selected pixels. This gives fine text a much clearer, more legible onscreen appearance.
Import any format that can be rendered by the OS (including TrueType, Type 1, OpenType, and bitmap formats).
Export as FontLab VFB. Requires FontLab, TypeTool, or TransType to generate font in TrueType or Type 1 format.
