ColorManager is a powerful, yet simple-to-use XTensions module for QuarkXPress. It allows users to identify, control, and easily manipulate any color usage within a document. Its aim and purpose is to provide a tool that makes the production of any color publication less arduous and more efficient in terms of time and money. Features:
· allows users to easily search and replace any color that appears in text, lines, frames, or backgrounds, and when searching for a color, the user can optionally specify what percentage shade of the specified color to look for;
· when replacing a color, the user can optionally specify what percentage shade the resultant color should be;
· allows the user to change individual occurrences of a color or to globally change all occurrences in the document;
· provides a process-separation flag for all colors in the document and colors can be checked and set in a facile manner;
· provides epsf usage feature that enables the user to keep track of the custom colors used in high-resolution EPS files;
· allows the user to locate and view EPS pictures in an active document (for each custom color that appears in the EPS file, know that color already exists in the present QuarkXPress document, if it doesn't, choose to create it);
· allows the user to print a report of all EPS files in the document, listing for each the custom colors contained within;
· provides a screen angles feature that allows the user to specify custom CMYK screen angles and frequencies to use for printing, thus preventing moir patterns; and
· provides a file mover option that allows the user to select a file and specify a destination disc and or folder where the file should be copied to (the file and all its linked files will be transferred to that location).
