Code 93 barcodes are used in the electronics industry and other places where very small symbols are desired. Code 93 barcodes are compact and include not one but two check digits to ensure accurate scans. Code 93's character set includes A through Z uppercase, 0 through 9, the space character, and six other characters: -, ., /, +, $, and % The four control codes are mapped to a, b, c, and d. These are often referred to as $, /, %, and +. The for the stop bar. Code 93 barcodes include two check digits, referred to as the C and K check digits. To create a scannable Code 93 barcode symbol, format a string of the form: where C and K are the two check digits.
