Now creating customized barcodes is simple and fast with the BarcodeMaker plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS2, CS3 & CS4. BarcodeMaker’s versatile options allow users to make up to 19 different types of barcodes by manipulating a single user-friendly palette. Anyone working with barcodes will appreciate the ability to fully customize each individual barcode by adding numbers, changing fonts and font size, controlling barcode height, and including or excluding checksum digits. • Supports 27 Barcode Types All the major barcode types are supported, including ISBN (10 and 13 digit), EAN, and UPC. • Edit Barcodes Directly within InDesign BarcodeMaker works with PatternMaker, a free Teacup plug-in. By building on top of PatternMaker, BarcodeMaker offers a different set of parameters you can adjust for each barcode. • Fully Scriptable With a simple AppleScript, JavaScript or VBScript, you can dynamically create barcodes directly on an InDesign page • Dual numbering support for ISBN 13 barcodes. The human-readable ISBN-10 digits will appear directly above the ISBN-13 digits, allowing for a smooth transition to the ISBN-13 standard. • ISBN and UPC barcodes can now be marked as "strippable" or "non-strippable" to help expedite the processing of stripped cover returns in the trade paperback industry. • The ability to add "EAN" or "UPC" in front of ISBN or UPC barcodes for easy identification. For EAN barcode users, a whitespace or a "quiet zone" which is identified by a ">" symbol can be inserted to the right of the barcode for optimal scanning recognition. For book publishers, adding a price to a barcode is simple. BarcodeMaker can now append two or five digit suffixes to both ISBN and UPC barcodes. Two digit suffixes are also supported for ISBN and ISSN barcodes.
